Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This policy explains what data Atlas collects, why, and your rights under the GDPR. By using the app you agree to this policy.
Data we collect
- Account: email, name and an encrypted password (or your Google/Apple identifier if you use social sign-in).
- Profile & body data: sex, date of birth, height, weight, goal, body measurements and any progress photos you add.
- Activity: your workouts, sets, food diary and water logs.
- Usage: anonymous product analytics — only if you accept the analytics banner.
How we use it
To run the app (training, nutrition, progress), to power the AI coach, to process Pro payments, and — with your consent — to improve the product.
Processors we share with
- Hosting & database (PostgreSQL) — stores your data.
- Stripe — payments (we never see your card details).
- Anthropic — the AI coach / label reader processes the data you submit to generate plans.
- PostHog — product analytics, only with consent.
- Web Push — to deliver notifications you opt into.
Legal basis (GDPR)
Performance of our contract (running the app), your consent (analytics, push notifications) and our legitimate interest in improving the service.
Your rights
- Access & portability — export everything in Settings → Export data.
- Rectification — edit your profile any time.
- Erasure — delete your account in Settings (removes all your data).
- Withdraw consent — decline or clear analytics consent at any time.
Retention
We keep your data while your account exists. Deleting your account permanently removes it.
